For the second year running, Adopt-a-School Foundation has partnered with Cell C’s Take a Girl Child to Work Day initiative to pair participating corporates with schools from our database. On 28 May over 800 girls from 38 schools are benefitting from this initiative, which is in its 10th year.

A further 11 girls from adopted schools in Gauteng have been selected for an exclusive Top Job experience. These Grade 11 learners spent the morning with the likes of Jimmi Matthews, Head of News for Mail and Guardian, Nicky Newton King, the CEO of the JSE; Thuli Madonsela, the South African Public Protector and Sello Hatang, the CEO of the Nelson Mandela Foundation.
