On 14 July 2023, 29 staff volunteers from African Bank kicked off the Back to School for Mandela Day initiative at Fukama Primary School in Vanderbijlpark. The day included painting a newly built dining and nutrition centre by the African Bank. The project consisted of painting doors, walls and window frames, making the dining and
