Back to School Party — Adopt-a-School Foundation

The Back to School Party is an important fundraiser for Adopt-a-School Foundation hosted by our Chairperson, Cyril Ramaphosa. Over the past 16 years, the party has raised over R55 million for South Africa’s rural and township schools.

The first Back to School Party was held in 2006, since then the party has become increasingly more spectacular, popular and well attended. Each year the Foundation welcomes over 1 000 guests to the party, representing 110 companies. Whilst this is the most important fundraiser for Adopt-a-School, the Back to School parties are unique, fun and light-hearted. Every guest attends in school uniform or sports attire.
