Extraordinary Milestone for Mabhodla Primary School

The 16th of October 2024 marked a significant milestone at Mabhodla Primary School in Richards Bay, as the school proudly celebrated the handover of School Leadership Advancement certificates, endorsed by Services SETA in partnership with Grindrod Limited.

The atmosphere was filled with joy and pride as 14 educators received their Certificates of Competence, while an additional five educators were recognised with Certificates of Attendance. Each certificate is valued at 12 credits on NQF Level 4.

Principal Mrs. Khumalo expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Grindrod and the Adopt-a-School Foundation for their steadfast support. She highlighted the transformative changes witnessed at the school since the training, including a significant reduction in absenteeism, engaging reading sessions during assemblies, and improved communication with parents through WhatsApp.

Educators shared their deep appreciation for the initiatives, emphasising how the programme has empowered them and instilled a renewed sense of leadership within each individual. It’s truly inspiring to witness such dedicated commitment to educational growth and development, fostering an environment where both educators and learners can thrive!
