On 25th October 2024, the Adopt-a-School Foundation proudly launched its Health, Sanitation, and Sexuality Education Project, supported by Merafe Resources, at Boitekong II Secondary School in Rustenburg. This impactful initiative aims to educate learners on essential topics such as health, hygiene, and sexuality.

The event featured outstanding performances by learners, including a soulful solo act and poignant poetry, which powerfully conveyed the core messages of the project.

Special guest Julius Kgole, popularly known as Juju for his role in Skeem Saam, delivered a motivational and inspiring address, encouraging learners to embrace the knowledge and opportunities offered by the project.

“We should consider ourselves privileged to be adopted by the Adopt-a-School Foundation,” said Ncdeo Qqeba, a member of the learner representative council. He urged his peers to seize the opportunities provided by the Foundation and to excel in their exams.

The event concluded on a celebratory note, with educators and staff members being honoured with Certificates of Excellence in recognition of their dedication and hard work in their respective subjects.
