Welcome to the September 2025 edition of our newsletter. As we continue through the 2025–2026 financial year, I am deeply encouraged by the milestones that have shaped our journey and inspired by the opportunities that lie ahead. The year continues to hold the promise of renewal, growth, and meaningful impact as we strengthen our commitment to transforming education across South Africa and empowering the learners we serve.

In this edition, we reflect on moments that embody the heart of our work and the strength of our partnerships. Through our engagements, we have witnessed the transformative power of collaboration in action. During Child Protection Week, our initiatives in Botshabelo and Rustenburg shone a light on the importance of safeguarding learners, restoring values, and fostering safe school environments.

On Mandela Day, nearly 300 volunteers came together at Hlakaniphani Primary School, leaving behind a legacy of service, compassion, and solidarity that will benefit learners for years to come. Most recently, we celebrated a historic achievement as eight of our learners stepped onto the global stage in China, representing South Africa at the World Youth Conference for Peace, a powerful reminder of the future we are helping to shape through innovation, opportunity, and global exposure.

Each of these milestones speaks to the essence of our mission: creating safe, inspiring, and enabling learning environments where every learner can thrive. More importantly, they demonstrate a simple but profound truth, transformation is never achieved in isolation. It is made possible by the unwavering support of our partners, donors, communities, and stakeholders who share our vision for a better and more equitable South Africa.

As we move forward, our focus remains clear: to deepen the impact of our Whole School Development model, broaden access to opportunities for learners, and strengthen resilience within schools and communities. Together, we can continue to unlock the potential of our young people, the leaders, innovators, and change-makers of tomorrow.

We are also delighted to invite you to our Back to School Party, hosted by our Chairperson, President Cyril Ramaphosa and invite link is shared below.

As always, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to our partners, sponsors, and supporters. Together, we continue to build pathways of opportunity, hope, and transformation for the learners and communities we serve.
