Restoring Values, Inspiring Change: The Moral Regeneration Programme at Boitekong Schools

At the Adopt-a-School Foundation, we believe that education thrives in environments built on respect, safety, and strong moral values. That’s why, with the generous support of Merafe Resources, we hosted the Moral Regeneration Programme at Boitekong Secondary School and Boitekong II in Rustenburg.

This impactful initiative forms part of our broader effort to instil positive values, restore discipline, and strengthen moral behaviour in schools. Through engaging discussions, performances, and workshops, learners are encouraged to reflect on the choices they make and the kind of future they want to build.

During this visit, we launched the My School, My Responsibility campaign, a call to action against violence, drugs, and gangsterism in schools. The highlight of the day was a powerful moment when every learner stood and pledged to take responsibility for protecting their education and promoting a culture of respect and safety.

The Moral Regeneration Programme reminds us that lasting change begins with our youth  and that when communities, educators, and partners work together, schools become places of hope and transformation.
