There are still 400 schools build from mud in South Africa. Adopt-a-School is demolishing three such schools in KZN and rebuilding three whole new schools. The three schools fall under the Amajuba district in the KwaZulu-Natal province in South Africa.
On the 20th and 21st of October, the Foundation hosted a spectacles handover that benefited 288 learners. The spectacle handover was part of a broader Visual Support Programme funded by Merafe Resources, which screened over 2 900 learners. At the handover, learners attended with their parents who were jointly trained on how to take care
On the 15 October, the Foundation handed over a durable and innovative water station and sanitation packs to Lot Phalatse Primary School in Hebron, outside Pretoria. On the 13 October and 20 October, we further hosted a tablets handover at Nomnekane and Diepsloot Primary School. All these projects are part of the COVID-19 relief interventions
