Grade R practitioners from six schools benefitted from a development training programme that focuses on life skills, numeracy and literacy.
The programme aimed to equip practitioners with the necessary skills and techniques for effective teaching and learning in Grade R.The training received by practitioners is endorsed by the South African Council for Educators and has earned each practitioner 15 credits.
The beneficiary primary schools include Maiketso in North West, Nomnekane in Gauteng, Nkonkwana in Eastern Cape, Ntsoanatsatsi in Free State, Parkview in Western Cape and Shwashweni in KwaZulu-Natal.
