On Thursday, 19 May 2022, learners at Residensia Secondary School in Sebokeng received a donation of 86 school chairs from the Adopt-a-School Foundation and ChairClub. The donation stemmed from office chairs purchased by the International Finance Corporation (IFC).

The donation marks the sixth school to receive school chairs under the campaign, bringing the total number of donated chairs to 837.

The campaign pledged to donate one classroom chair for each office chair sold across their entire product line. To date, the Buy One, Give One campaign has donated chairs to four Gauteng schools. Bathabile Primary School received the first set of 100 Foundation Phase school chairs. The second batch of 100 chairs was provided to Diepsloot Combined School in Diepsloot, while the third batch of 117 chairs was donated to Modilati Secondary School in Hammanskraal. The fourth batch of 221 chairs was donated to Zikhethele Secondary School in Devon and the fifth chair handover was at Mohloli Secondary School where 213 school chairs were donated.

The campaign aims to increase donations to schools in need across the country. We call upon you to support them should you need office chairs.
