Welcome to our last newsletter of the year. We are thrilled to share with you our activities from the month of August to date. The past few months have been very busy for the Foundation, as we visited several schools, handing over multiple completed projects. The handovers included an ablution facility and ICT projects at Modilati Secondary School, spectacles from our Mandela Day initiative at Tsakani Primary School, completion of Information Communication Technology (ICT) projects at multiple schools and spectacles handover at Diepsloot Combined School.
We are also excited to have hosted a successful Adopt-a-School Foundation Fundraising Dinner in the month of November. The Foundation was delighted to reconnect with its important stakeholders to showcase its milestones and achievements. In addition, we were also able to build new partnerships and new commitments for projects, which will enable us to implement various programmes in schools. On behalf of Adopt-a-School Foundation, I would like to thank all stakeholders who attended this event, those who pledged funds on the night and those who donated auction items.
2023 has been a remarkable year with tremendous strides in delivering Whole School Development in marginalised communities across the country. This would not have been possible without your continuous support and commitment towards education in South Africa. Thank you on behalf of the Adopt-a-School Foundation Board, staff and beneficiaries. Your loyal support has been priceless to witness.
The Foundation is closing for the holiday period from the 21 st of December 2023, we wish you a very safe, happy and peaceful festive season. We look forward to welcoming you back into the New Year on the 2nd of January, 2024.
Happy Holidays!!!!
Regards
