On 14 July 2023, 29 staff volunteers from African Bank kicked off the Back to School for Mandela Day initiative at Fukama Primary School in Vanderbijlpark. The day included painting a newly built dining and nutrition centre by the African Bank. The project consisted of painting doors, walls and window frames, making the dining and nutrition centre ready for furnishing. The dining and nutrition centre will provide a clean and safe eating environment for 805 learners.
